Welcome to Passing Notes.
This site has been established to provide access to a range of resources to assist you in the teaching of secondary Science.
Each lesson comes in two versions: a pdf which can be printed out and given to students to complete in the traditional written form, and a word document which has form fields students can type into directly. This means you can implement each lesson supplied as either a laptop lesson or a traditional lesson.
Trial lessons are available to allow you to try out the material with your students. You can also find these lessons featured at the bottom of pages like this one, or go directly to the featured lessons page for a comprehensive list. Download whatever you require from this page. Access to the entire site is only available to members.
Individual and school memberships are available and we believe the time saving in preparation as well as the convenience of a bank of instant lessons are well worth the investment. Perhaps your colleagues would be interested in a school membership where you can pay one price and all enjoy the benefits of membership.
Passing Notes is still in its infancy but is growing every month. We will ensure a bank of new lessons is posted to the site each fortnight, however we are open to ideas and suggestions for specific focus lessons. If you would like to see a Passing Note on a particular concept, send us an email. We will post all requests and responses to our teacher blog, so check it out regularly.
In addition, as a member, you can help the site grow. If you like developing your own resources, why not develop some you can share with others. As a Passing Notes author, you retain the rights to your work as well as all copyright royalties. Register as an author and submit your work on the approved template. Passing Notes will pass your details on to the Copyright Agency Limited who will pay all royalties directly to you.
We hope you enjoy Passing Notes.
