For Schools
Passing Notes was set up to support schools during the phasing in of the Digital Education Revolution. Its primary aim is to support teachers to ensure there is a bank of lessons which are compatible with laptops. The lessons have been set up in word with locked content and form fields which students can complete directly. These files can then be saved to an intranet or emailed directly.
Whilst there is considerable benefit to individual teachers in becoming a member, during the early growth stage it is particularly cost effective for a school department to become a member. This way all teachers can access the site, discuss ways of efficiently using the site and test the material.
A school membership is only 2.5x the individual membership and represents outstanding value for money. New material will be added fortnightly to the website, with mini-video lessons, excel and powerpoint resources to be added over the next 12 months.
Schools have the opportunity to try someof the lessons before becoming a member. Featured lessons are randomly displayed at the bottom of pages like this one, or you could go directly to the featured items page.
At Passing Notes, we are keen to see the site used to its maximum capacity and also to see it grow. As a result we encourage members to develop additional material for the site. Authors retain all rights to their material and details will be forwarded to the Copyright Agency Limited to ensure prompt payment of any royalties.
So if you are looking for some additional resources to use with your students, why not try Passing Notes?
